Physics Photo Contest

This picture to the right and in the above banner was taken by Adil Husain and Ben Freeburg for a physics photo contest. In this contest, students must take a photograph that shows some concept of physics. With the aid of Mr. Adam Plana, Adil and Ben were able to take this picture of a laser going through a hole in a beaker of water. As you can see, this picture shows how water refracts the laser and makes it follow its curved path. Lasers, like other rays, travel in waves which can also be seen in their picture. We wish the best of luck to the group in the contest.
